HallTech beehive shroud. I must say it's a fantastic addition to any cai system on the C6. I'm sure for cost reasons k&n skipped this addition. The shipping presentation was really well done and thought out. Really impressed with the attention to details of the box lettering and packaging. The overall quality is very high end looking and like the Shroud belongs in the engine Bay Area.
I was able to install the shroud without any modifications. The trick with insulation is you have to kind of bend it down and forward. You also have to tuck it underneath the intake at the same time. It's a little tricky and tight, but it does fit. You will push up when you're installing the pushpins as that's also tight, but will eventually perfect fit in place. I would personally want to have it, snug rather than looser.
