This install kit comes with all the components for our C8 Hornet series of intakes. Kit includes:

• inlet duct gaskets
• spare panel mount zip ties
• MAF hardware and allen wrench
• trunk-side mounting washers
• assembly hardware

This hose is custom made to transition from the C8 intake tube to a Soler Performance 95mm t/b.

• Please indicate if you want a short hose (because you are using the t/b spacer plate), or a long hose (not using the spacer plate).
• Please also indicate if you want the PCV side finger (Stingray, E-Ray) or not (Z06, ZR1)

Halltech's Cold-Core™ philosophy is to keep the intake air as cold as possible, for as long as possible.

The Halltech Cold-Core™ Thermal Sleeve is an 18-inch heat-resistant sleeve designed to help protect Halltech intake tubes from engine-compartment heat. Constructed from heat-resistant DuPont™ Nomex® aramid fabric combined with a stretch elastomer, the sleeve creates a lightweight thermal barrier around the intake tube to help reduce heat transfer into the incoming air.

Depending on the Halltech intake system, the 18-inch length may also extend far enough to cover portions of our Flex-Lock™ throttle-body hose and/or filter neck. The flexible construction allows the sleeve to conform to the intake system, and a simple slit can be made to provide access to MAF sensors or PCV fittings where required.

Real-World Testing

The Cold-Core™ Thermal Sleeve has been tested under real-world driving conditions. During a test with 70°F ambient temperatures, 30 minutes of normal driving followed by a high-speed run to 130 mph maintained intake air temperatures at approximately ambient temperature throughout the test.

Following the 130-mph run, the vehicle was allowed to idle for 60 seconds, causing IATs to rise to 78°F—only 8°F above ambient. After just one additional block of driving, IATs dropped back to 72°F.

This is the replacement lid for your Hornet or Super Hornet cold air intake filter box. The following is included:

• ABS thermoformed lid with reverse partition ramp
• pre-installed perimeter gasket to seal against filter
• 9 stainless steel button head bolts and washer

Hornet replacement filter. This is our PROPRIETARY C8 filter made exclusively for Halltech by S&B and TKO. It fits all Halltech C8 Hornet intake systems. No returns on filters. This filter will not fit other C8 systems, of this we are sure. This 10"x16" obround filter has a huge filtered area of over 600 square inches (the stock C8 filter actually fits inside our filter).
