The Halltech Honeycomb™ is a high-flow airflow straightener designed specifically for the Delphi 85mm MAF sensor used on C5 Corvettes and early C6 LS2 applications.

The aluminum honeycomb structure reduces turbulence and swirl in the airflow before it reaches the MAF sensor, helping create a more consistent airflow profile across the MAF sensing element. This is especially important with aftermarket intake systems that can introduce turbulence or uneven airflow at the MAF.

The Honeycomb™ is a direct, plug-and-play replacement that installs in about one minute using your existing factory MAF meter.

The Honeycomb™ can eliminate lean codes and surging associated with turbulent airflow at the MAF when used with aftermarket intake systems. It replaces the restrictive factory 1/16-inch honeycomb screen found in LS1–LS2 MAF applications.

High-Flow Airflow Straightening

The Honeycomb™ uses a 94mm diameter aluminum honeycomb structure with 1/8-inch cells and a 6mm thickness. The larger cell structure provides effective airflow straightening while maintaining high airflow through the MAF.

The result is a cleaner, more stable airflow path into the MAF sensor—without adding a restrictive screen to the intake.
