Why would you guys have the Kevlar sleeve as an add item for the C8. Never have installed this unit I ordered the sleeve but there is now use for it on this application. Was just to sell more product regardless of use? This is my only complaint.

5 of 5 UNDERATED June 18, 2025

Let me start by saying that I was reluctant at first to an intake system on a car that already had a good intake from the factory. Before swapping, I had an Attak Blue filter. It was good but nothing like the Halltech intake. Acceleration is much more responsive at any pedal variation. This intake creates a more defined driving experience. Less effort to accelerate at any speed is a definite plus. At higher RPM, you feel a better pull than with the stock air intake. Installation wasn't as simple as Paragons video. They must have previously removed clips on the air box, and the ambient air temp sensor removal was the worst. Take your time. For me it was worth the squeeze.

5 of 5 Good work! June 30, 2022

My max torque gain was at about 4800 rpms at 12.5ft.  lbs. and max horsepower gain was at that same 4800 rpms and at 12+ hp.

Am I happy with the results? Yes. I don’t know if the science behind your design is sound, but it sure seems logical to “focus” the airflow through the airflow sensor. What is truly outstanding is the quality of the entire assembly.

We just finished up testing on the C8 air Box you sent.. We’ve tested several systems with no gains, so I wasn’t optimistic. But I am very pleased to report we did see repeatable results with the Hornet.. The initial test was done on our NA development car which we have good data on. Our next phase will be to test it on our supercharged car.

We found plotting of the increases to be very consistent which tells me the system is definitely managing air flow better than the stock unit..

Thank You,
Mark Rapson

5 of 5 HP Gain & Smooth MAF reading April 19, 2022
Reviewer: Paragon Performance
The Halltech intake testing shows a nice gain in horsepower across the entire powerband. Equally important is that with its design, the long term and short term fuel trims are very consistent with what we see from the stock intake. This translates to better drivability, fuel efficiency and will avoid check engine lights from fuel trims getting outside their acceptable range. We also noticed the mass airflow reading is very smooth, again matching up well with what the OEM intake shows. Some intakes that we have tested do not produce a smooth input which can lead to fueling inconsistencies and loss of power.
