The stock Z06 NACA duct feeds the top of the filter, which for those that prefer not to cut their radiator shroud, will be sufficient to bring cold air into the Beehive&trade . Bee Cool!

Halltech Bumble Bee™ Carbon Fiber Cold Air Induction is the ultimate Camaro carbon fiber cold air induction for the naturally aspirated LS3. Lightweight and designed with an integrated Mass Air Flow sensor tower, and minor venturi area you will see more horsepower and torque with this bolt on, than any other intake on the market. The MAF tower duplicates the stock tower exactly, but features stainless steel threaded inserts and comes with 316 marine grade SS Allan screw, SS 316 washers and Viton® rubber standoffs for a perfect MAF no leak fit. The Halltech Bumble Bee™ boasts of fully developed laminar flow at the MAF due in part to the MAF placement and the full radius velocity stack built into the K&N race filter. Our plastic Hive™ heat shield surrounds the Bumble Bee™ to seal off the filter from engine heat. Dyno tested at +18RWHP/16lbs ft. you will definitely feel the power. Tuning may be required due to the 105mm diameter inlet and outlet, but lean codes will not be a problem. The SCT X3 tuner should be added to your order to dial in the power perfectly, and if purchased at the same time, Jim Hall will do his World Famous Halltech emailTUNE® for just the cost of the handheld X3. Rerouting of the PCV line is required with this intake system. We also have an optional full radius carbon fiber velocity stack called the Stinger™ VS for an additional $225.00 that was designed for F1 race car engines. Otherwise the velocity stack part of the system will be in cross linked polyethylene. shown on the right in our picture. Our test vehicle has tested this intake now for over a month with no codes! Tuning is optional for more power, but not required to prevent codes.

It serves as a heat shield for your Killer Bee™ II and isolates it from hot engine heat. It also captures cold air from the NACA duct and provides cool ambient air to the Killer Bee™ or Killer Bee™ II CF105. This is worth over 20 HP dynamically, by conserving full timing in the high octane tables, and the cooler denser air is worth 5 HP for every -10 degrees you lower the intake temp.
