Fits all C6 Corvettes!  2005-2010.  Make a "Beeline" down the 1/4 mile with Halltech's Beehive&trade Heat Shield Cold Air Induction. Featuring easy pop-in installation, black OEM finish and very minor cutting, this simple add-on mod will bring another 15 HP to your Z06 or C6 when on the road or track by keeping hot engine heat out of the intake. Halltech's all new Killer Beehive&trade Ram Air Induction is a simple heat-shield designed to isolate the Killer Bee&trade filter from underhood heat, but also rams massive amounts of cold dense air into the Beehive&trade filter through two optional cutouts on the lower radiator deflector shield that will feed cold air to the sides of the Killer Bee&trade filter.  The stock Z06 NACA duct feeds the top of the filter, which for those that prefer not to cut their radiator shroud, will be sufficient to bring cold air into the Beehive&trade .  Bee Cool!

  • "Pop-On" Installation using stock locater tabs and rubber grommets
  • Halltech Z06 Testing has shown an 35 degree difference in Intake Air Temps after idling for 1 minute with the shield in place, keeping important timing for off the line performance.
  • 1 minute standing idle test shows a gain of only 9F to 11F at the IAT sensor with the shroud in place.
  • Additional ram air effect and isolation of the intake system will allow better timing and leaner air fuel ratios for even better performance than the Killer Bee&trade alone.
  • 15 additional HP from timing conservation and ram air effect
  • Hood seal to keep water out of Beehive&trade and better seal than the stock hood seal
  • Utilizes the stock NACA duct for cold air, but optional cutouts will provide ram air to the Killer Bee&trade RAIS

I bought this to go with my Killer Bee and did the shroud cutouts to get more cold air. I was very pleased with the quality of the unit. It really looks like a stock piece  especially with the rubber seals that come with it. I now have a true cold air intake that doesn't look like an after market add on.

This one of the easiest and least expenvise ways to add power to your C6. In my opinion this is one of if not the best air induction systems available.

Jim  I just took my z on good corning and straights, foothill road, about 20 miles.  I can say that on passing another vette, I felt a real kick in of timing change, and overall stumpier pull.  I think the shield is well worth the money.   sam
